Position Summary
Arts & Science is seeking a dynamic Graduate Program Administrator to join the Department of Biology. This individual will c oordinate and implement policies, programs, and activities associated with graduate programs within the department of biology, including academic advisement, student registration; graduate assistantship and intramural and extramural fellowships; class scheduling, student recruitment; alumni relations.
Qualifications
Required Education:Bachelor's DegreeRequired Experience:3+ years relevant experience, including advising on program or service options, and planning various activities and events.Preferred Experience:Experience in a higher education environment.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to market programs, solve problems and interact with individuals at all levels. Proficiency in word-processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $67,500.00 to USD $75,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
