JPMorgan Chase Global Talent Acquisition Lead, Asset Management - Executive Director in New York, New York

Our Talent Acquisition Leads are responsible for collaborating with senior leaders globally across the organization. These roles are highly focused on relationship building and strategic thinking to develop collaborative partnerships and lead high touch, differentiated talent acquisition capabilities to our executive team and other key stakeholders.

As a Talent Acquisition Lead within our Asset Management business your role will be to act as primary lead for the Head of Global Asset Management and their leadership teams. Reporting to the Global head of Asset & wealth Management Talent Acquisition you will be responsible for driving strategic engagement and intelligence needs for both immediate and future demand across the global Asset Management business. You will need to demonstrate strong awareness of the market and a commitment to driving diverse and inclusive hiring practices.

You will be passionate about providing the highest level of service to senior leaders. They will actively leverage cross-functional relationships in leadership, finance, business management and HR Advisory as part of a virtual team. The role requires an approach that is both analytical and creative, understanding problems and devising solutions. Job responsibilities:

  • Partners with the Line of Business leadership team, HR Advisory and Finance & Business Management colleagues to develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-channel recruiting strategy for the business.

  • Acts as member of the Global Asset & Wealth Management Recruiting Leadership team responsible for shaping our talent acquisition strategy for the firm and ensuring business alignment to firmwide recruiting best practice, planning and execution.

  • Demonstrates expert level of understanding of the line of business recruiting needs, engaging with business leaders as a domain expert for all areas of talent acquisition practices to be applied in the context of their overarching strategy and business needs.

  • Leads with data driven insights of hiring trends, sourcing channels, industries and markets, organizational structures, and companies.

  • Operates globally across all locations to identify and resolve recruiting challenges.

  • Proactively shares innovative solutions to add value, anticipate needs, and streamline process for the client.

  • Prepares and presents relevant market data at all points of client interaction, delivering regular stakeholder reporting and key qualitative insights to aligned client group(s) and sharing relevant insights on Recruiting KPIs and metrics.

  • Establishes critical partnerships with HR Business Advisors, Compensation, and Finance & Business Management partners to continuously optimize recruitment value.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Industry knowledge, including significant knowledge of delivery at scale.

  • 10+ years of experience in client engagement, involving regular interaction and exposure to senior executives in a corporate, management consulting or executive search environment.

  • Strong business acumen, intellectual curiosity, analytical critical thinking, and excellent advisory skills, with a high level of proficiency in working with and presenting data.

  • Client-first collaborative and consultative approach, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Able to work independently in a dynamic environment of change, challenge and multiple deadlines and priorities, high attention to detail.

  • Technical and analytical thought leadership in data-driven domains, adept at articulating talent acquisition strategies and investments with supporting rationale and metrics

  • Empathetic and collaborative, able to work across teams and projects fluidly, with ability to get up to speed quickly on new initiatives and lead thorough, best-in-class execution end-to-end.

  • Optimizing environments for teams, removing impediments, and partnering with executives to manage sponsorship and accomplish goals.

  • Leading change across organizations - analytical and enquiring, ready to challenge and improve products and processes across client and colleague teams, creating an environment that promotes and delivering innovative solutions based on customer experiences and insights.
