Responsibilities

Responsible for directing overall strategy, milestones, and efficiency of all FTA operations, including serving as the main operational point of contact for client stakeholders, making staffing decisions, and setting operational objectives and priorities.

  • Completes analytical and operational functions timely and in accordance with standard operating procedures, reviewing material account balances and transactions on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Serves as client’s primary subject matter expert on Fiscal Transfer Agent functions.

  • Directs Manager’s daily activities related to all FTA functions, including task prioritization and monitoring the speed of execution.

  • Serves as final quality reviewer of work performed by Manager, analyzing reports/reconciliations/transactions for accuracy and completeness.

  • Provides decisions on escalated issues of non- compliance, excessive risk or items outside standard operating procedures.

  • Resolves escalated customer issues and inquiries.

  • Serves as subject matter expert in system development, testing and business process re- engineering.

    Reviews and provides expertise on proposals in the Financial Services sector.

Qualifications

Abilities/Skills/Knowledge required by the position:

Knowledge of Settlements, Pooling, Certificate Transfers, Payoffs and Defaults and customer service for broker dealers, pooling agents and investors. Must be able to lead a team focused on processing new sales into the secondary market. Must also be capable of leading reporting processes for a loan portfolio of over 300,000 loans, plus a master reserve fund of approximately $3.5 Billion. Must have strong analytical and quality control skills. Must know data points for securities and must be capable of leading reporting processes for secondary markets. Strong communication and problem solving skills; technically proficient in Microsoft Office solutions.

Supervisory Controls: Ability to meet established Service Level Agreements, overall contractual obligations and position responsibilities is measured by the Operations Director.

Guidelines, Procedures, Other Controls:

Established Standard Operating Procedures & Guidelines, Monthly Key Risk Indicator and Productivity reporting and compliance monitoring, Internal Audit, Risk Management and Quality Assurance Reviews.

Additional Requirements

Minimum years of experience to qualify for position: 11-15

Bachelor’s Degree Required
