JPMorgan Chase Executive Director, Software Engineer in New York, New York

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Manage agile software delivery teams focused on iOS and Android apps, and partner with the Product owners. Responsible for all aspects of mobile technology delivery. Manage risk and deliver technical tasks related to the solution, including breaks, defects, patches and upgrades. Deliver solutions leveraging modern technologies, including mobile app and mobile framework development utilizing modern design patterns. Mentor team members to progress their technical and professional skills. Build and maintain relationships with business and technology team members. Triage technical issues and lead teams toward solving problems. Plan team capacity to accommodate demands, and build a diverse and inclusive team and culture within the organization. Drive down the legacy technology platform footprint.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study plus 10 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Digital Engineer, Mobile Technology Lead, Technical Lead, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Agile SDLC; Application Architecture Disciplines; Microservices; Publish-subscribe (Pub/Sub) technologies; Spring framework; Java; JavaScript; GIT; Automated testing; iOS and android mobile tech stack, including Swift and Kotlin; Mobile security domain and solutions; Financial control and budget management; CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins; Build tools, such as MAVEN, NPM or Gradle; Project Planning; Managing a team of software engineers, managers, quality assurance and agility specialists; Micro-services architecture and cloud computing; and architecture, design and business processes in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines.

Job Location: 277 Park Ave., New York, NY 10172. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

Full-Time. Salary: $300,000 - $300,000 per year.
