Job Description:

The Industry Specialists serve as elite subject matter experts and have deep sector knowledge. As well as stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and economic developments to drive LOB priorities and provide informed advice and recommendations to clientsand the larger Enterprise Relationship Specialist team. The Industry Enterprise Relationship Specialists are dedicated to Global Corporate, Global Investment Banking, and Global Markets to drive responsible growth through business integration holistically between the Wealth, Workplace Benefits, and Consumer businesses while facilitating all cross-line of business activities.

Bank of America’s Responsible Growth strategy is a core priority to "Deliver One Company" through Referral Programs to drive Market Share Growth. Many of these Referral Programs are administered by the Local Markets Organization (“LMO”). LMO is focused on enabling front line units to drive client opportunities across Bank of America by leveraging Enterprise-wide relationships and coordinating coverage teams to deliver a broad range of solutions to clients on an Enterprise basis. The Industry Enterprise Relationship Specialists are dedicated to Global Corporate, Global Investment Banking, and Global Markets to drive responsible growth through business integration holistically between the Wealth, Workplace Benefits, and Consumer businesses while facilitating all cross-line of business activities. The Industry Specialists have deep sector knowledge, stays updated on industry trends, market conditions, and economic developments to drive LOB priorities and provide informed advice and recommendations to clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Aligned to GCIB Industry Sectors, responsible for forging strong partnerships and industry expertise to drive referral flows holistically

  • Maintains a deep understanding and knowledge of the products and offerings for Wealth Management, Investment Banking, Workplace Benefits and Consumer platforms

  • Develops and executes sales strategies and pipeline routines

  • Manages client interactions, represents the bank, and recommends the best course of action for clients while abiding by all regulatory requirements

  • Cultivates internal and external relationships with leadership, advisors, relationship managers, and clients/prospects

  • Facilitates Wealth Management (GWIM) to Investment Banking (GIB) and Global Markets (GM) referral opportunities in partnership with Divisional teams

  • Works with the Divisional Enterprise Relationship Specialist Team, Local Market Partners and the GCIB Liaisons to coordinate on GBAM clients in local markets

  • Oversees the technical and operational functions of the sectors integration business with supporting Industry Associate

Qualifications Needed:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • 10+ years wealth management, banking, trading experience or a related field

  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 (*will support if candidate does not currently have, but must obtain within specified timeframe)

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, organized with great attention to detail and execution

  • Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Executive Presence working with Sr. Leaders, Fortune 500 Companies and High Net Worth Clients

  • Exceptional client sales presentation skills, follow-up and execution through the sales process working with LOB partners

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau and must have the ability to master new technology and data management
