Emerging Markets Portfolio Manager (Vontobel Asset Management, Inc. - New York, NY); Multiple positions available. Salary range is $245,000 to $350,000 per year. Providing stock selection through primary and secondary equity research within the framework of Company’s investment philosophy and process. Assist in the marketing and client services efforts for Emerging Markets Equity and other strategies as required. Define and implement Company’s investment philosophy as it relates to the management of Emerging Markets equity portfolios. Develop, refine and implement Company’s Emerging Markets equity investment discipline. Ensure that the team is outperforming client defined Emerging Markets equity benchmarks for accounts from time to time assigned to Executive over a market cycle of generally three to five years. Assist in the planning, organizing and leading Company’s investment management and research team. Provide active support of Company’s marketing effort as may be reasonably requested from time to time by the marketing staff of Company and Vontobel Group, including, but not limited to, such activities as making presentations to potential institutional, mutual and private clients or groups, and assisting in the preparation of marketing material. Conduct an ongoing review of financial performance of Emerging Markets equity portfolios vis-a-vis their defined investment objectives. Implement and comply with the investment restrictions applicable to each Emerging Markets portfolio. Position based in New York, NY. Telecommuting permitted 2 days per week. International and domestic travel required up to 10% of working time.Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field and 5 years of experience in performing financial and risk analysis. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field and 5 years of experience in performing financial and risk analysis, will accept 7 years of experience in performing financial and risk analysis. Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following: Managing team of analysts and researchers to meet financial performance objectives; Analyzing clients’ needs and identifying the right investment products, procedures, and programs; and Involving in client servicing and ensuring clients’ benchmarks are met.
