Full Service Engineering Firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer, to join their team in NYC! This is an excellent opportunity for growth, that offers the chance to support almost all project types under the sun, as well as includes yearly bonuses for all employees regardless of tenure!

Job Description:

• Conceptualize electrical systems and communicate design options to clients and other stakeholders.

• Develop high quality construction documents and specifications.

• Perform engineering calculations for building load analysis and emergency power systems.

• Prepare building due diligence and assessment reports to describe existing systems and electrical design options.

• Participate with the MEP team in construction administration activities including on-site field observation, punch list reports, contractor coordination, RFI’s, and cost estimate review.

• Provide mentorship, training, and development for junior staff.

• Develop client relationships through successful coordination and demonstration of excellence on project work

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineer

• 5+ Years Experience designing electrical equipment

• Experience with AutoCAD + Revit

• Experience working on a variety of building types through all phases of a project from schematic design through construction administration.

• Excellent communications skills to enable successful in-person dialogue and relationships with owners, architects and other consultants.

• Desire for project management roles where you can lead and manage MEP project teams successfully.

• Effective knowledge of the National and NYC Electrical Code, New York Building Code, and NFPA Codes.

• P.E License preferred

• LEED Accreditation preferred

• Work on a multitude of projects ranging from residential, commercial, healthcare, government, hospitability (They have their hands in all project types!)

• Owned by 8 principals and there is an opportunity to eventually becoming a principal
