Position Summary

City Winery produces thousands of concerts and hundreds of wines annually across nine live entertainment venues that are also fully functional wineries and restaurants in nine different metropolitan areas. City Winery is seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our ecommerce team to help create digital ads, email, text promotions, push notifications, and organic social posts among other initiatives.

The successful candidate will be able to take strategic guidance on marketing campaigns and help turn it into clearly defined digital customer journeys that outline a campaign’s various touch points with customers via paid digital ads, email, text, push notifications, and organic social posts. The candidate must also be able to build and schedule the respective content across multiple City Winery markets.

This position is a thrilling way to get experience in all aspects of digital marketing at a fun, fast paced live entertainment company and restaurant winery. This is an entry level position, minimal experience is required. But, candidates with previous experience in digital marketing may be given priority.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field preferred.

  • Minimal experience (1+ years) in digital marketing is not required, but experience with Facebook Ads Manager or other digital ad platforms is a plus.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and a desire to ask questions to gain clarity or insight into a task.

  • Basic understanding of digital marketing principles.

  • Inherently tech savvy and passionate about how technology can create great experiences.

  • Familiarity with Facebook Ads Manager and Google Ads a plus.

  • Basic knowledge of Google Analytics or other analytics tools.

  • Ability to create and send email, text, and push notification marketing campaigns..

  • Experience defining customer journeys.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Passion for music, food, wine and the entertainment industry.

  • Position is based in New York City and may require some travel to other City Winery locations.

Overview of Responsibilities

  • Create and implement digital ad campaigns for all shows taking place at up to four different City Winery locations on Meta, Google, Cybba and potentially other ad platforms.

  • Manage and monitor ad spend, CPA, and ROAS to ensure effective results.

  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting on ad performance.

  • Collaborate with the local marketing teams at each venue to ensure that ads align with overall marketing strategy.

  • Create, execute and manage email, text, and in-app push notification marketing campaigns for up to four City Winery locations.

  • Post engaging, on-brand organic social content for up to four markets.

  • Identify areas of opportunity for the customer experience to be enhanced via digital marketing tools.

  • Track and report on digital marketing metrics by location.
