Shaner now has an opportunity for a Director of Salesto join our team at the Inn at Bellefield by Residence Inn Marriott, currently under construction. The hotel is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter 2023. The Director of Sales will be responsible for strategically soliciting and developing new accounts and successfully promoting the property. We are seeking a detail-oriented, professional and enthusiastic leader with excellent sales techniques who will meet or exceed budgeted goals and responsibly manage all aspects of the Sales department in accordance with the standards of Marriott and Shaner Hotels. • Minimum of five years of experience in hotel sales. • Marriott brand experience preferred. • Hotel opening experience a plus. • Strong attention to detail, and excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent people management and problem resolution skills. • Superior guest satisfaction skills. • Basic knowledge of hospitality financials, reporting requirements and industry measurements. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
