Magic Labs, Inc. Director of Product Management in New York, New York

Job duties - Set and meet business targets and deliver against corporate priorities. Work with data, sales and marketing to constantly monitor Magic’s customer behaviors, needs and key metrics to find opportunities to remove customer frictions, add value, and increase revenue. Build an in-depth understanding of the company's customers, end-users, internal users, integrations, systems, API’s, SDK’s, marketing tools, platforms, and channels and create a product development roadmap to drive improvements across the board. Partner with the engineering leadership and engineering team to scope out new product and feature offerings and resources that are required for product development. Partner with Product Design team to design software user experiences using Figma. Build cross-functional end-to-end software project roadmaps using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and Jira. Create detailed user testing plans to ensure bug-free customer and end-users experience. Drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver successful products and/or features. Partner with other teams to help drive the cohesive strategy for the organization. Conduct industry inbound analysis to help inform the gaps in the company’s solutions. Communicate through multiple channels with clear action items to drive complex projects forward. Influence senior leadership to build consensus and drive buy-in for complex projects. Manage a team of product managers. 10% domestic travel. Report to New York office. Ability to telecommute.Education and Experience required - Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering field and 6 years of experience as a product manager. Background - 6 years of experience developing product strategy based on competitive/market analysis and company’s go-to-market strategy. 6 years of experience with data analysis for product development. 6 years of experience managing software development lifecycle for software used by tens of millions of global users. 4 years of product management experience with B2B and B2B2C products sold to Fortune 500 companies. 3 years of experience using Jira or a similar tool to manage product development/product launches, build cross-functional end-to-end software project roadmaps, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 3 years of experience building payments software across multiple tax jurisdictions using Microsoft Excel for data analysis/presentation. 6 years of experience with Software as a Service product development for E-Commerce, Education, and/or Financial Technology verticals.Location - Report to New York, NY office.
