JPMorgan Chase Digital Product Owner, Digital Channels - Vice President in New York, New York

Building upon the success of our Digital Channels, Chase is seeking a highly effective and innovative Feature Product Owner to drive strategic initiatives within Mobile & Web. In this role, the candidate will support the Digital Channels Product Group using their experience in product management and track record of strong delivery and execution. The Digital Channels team is developing the next generation of a customer experiences across the entire spectrum of Chase clients and products. Our goal is to deliver innovative, simple, and unique experiences that enable our customers to improve their financial lives.


This role will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Collaborates with technical leaders and cross-product product owners on the creation and prioritization of a product roadmap

  • Manages and refines product backlog items to drive value in accordance with business stakeholder priorities

  • Execution of business and technical requirement analysis, definition and JIRA management

  • Partners with engineering leads to oversee development team, ensuring proper sprint planning and proper utilization of development cycles

  • Drives commitment for critical dependencies - including facilitating elaboration sessions, helping to secure resources, ensuring sprint alignment, etc

  • Identify, coordinate and sequence dependencies on other product teams

  • Helps remove impediments for the team

  • Engages with and validates features to ensure client/customer and user problems are solved

  • Respects, values and promotes diversity and inclusion

  • Manages key relationships and communications with stakeholders including to senior executives

  • Participate and facilitate meetings as required

  • Act as a strategic partner to product managers across the team


  • Experience with agile product development techniques and practices

  • 7+ years of digital product or project management or relevant experience

  • Ability to map business processes and identify requirements from those processes

  • Experience in defining and building out product roadmap and business models

  • Experience with large scale technical platforms and API development

  • Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills

  • Commitment and self-motivation suitable to a start-up team

  • BS or MS in Business Management or comparable field of study

  • Demonstrable experience working in banking, account opening, online and mobile platforms

  • Demonstrated experience in technology project management-

  • Effective written and verbal communicator with excellent reasoning, organizational and presentation skills to both technical and product audiences, including senior executives

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite and with JIRA
