Kaltura DevOps Tech Lead Engineer in New York, New York
DevOps Tech Lead Engineer (Remote Position) - Kaltura Inc., NY, NY Job Duties:Spearhead Kaltura’s Cloud platform group; Lead the industry shift to OTT CloudTV as a technical and managerial anchor; Work with and oversee cloud technologies, ensuring best practices in system design and implementation; Manage all delivery pipelines, manage transition from R&D to Production with strategic outlook; Troubleshoot complex technical problems, provide guidance to various teams (internal & external), and continually enhance our systems, deployments, operations, and overall cloud activities and costs; Mentor team members, foster environment of growth and technical skill development, maintain hands-on approach to infrastructure and deployment strategies. Remote position from any US location, must work during EST business hours. Base Salary: $255,944. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or closely related, or foreign equivalent; 5 years of experience as DevOps Engineer or Field Applications Engineer in software development company. Experience must include: Working with 'everything as code' approach, Linux systems, PowerShell, Python, Bash, cloud computing, Docker and Kubernetes; Managing production teams, supporting large-scale cloud infrastructure; Monitoring with Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, supporting tools RabbitMQ, Elastic search, Couchbase, version control systems (SVN, Git).
