Responsibilities will include:
Trade execution and provide support to senior traders
Development and testing of derivatives pricing models (Equity, Interest Rates, and Currency) used in Mark-to-Market reporting, projects in risk and analytics
Build decision making tools (e.g. pre-trade analytics, back testing, market monitoring, and DV01 management tools) to manage dynamic strategies
Assist in developing P&L attribution and hedge effectiveness reports to analyze previous, current, and future performance
Monitoring of derivative activities that support the General Account portfolio management
Derivatives support work with Financial Reporting, Valuation actuarial and ALM teams
Perform market scenario stress testing for partners within finance, risk management, portfolio management and trading
Assist in design, maintenance and implementation of solutions addressing business unit needs
Ensure data accuracy and reconciliation
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Financial Engineering, Engineering, Operations Research, Finance, or Mathematics)
2-5 years of experience in interest rate, equity, and currency derivatives
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Excellent programming skills in Python/Matlab/VBA
A proven ability to think independently and critically analyze detailed and complex information
Strong collaboration skills and willingness to work as a team player
Familiarity with Aladdin, Beacon, Bloomberg is a plus
