Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a Data/Business Analyst for our team in New York and New Jersey. In this role, you will develop and support proactively, the reporting required for program and project controls on a heavy civil engineering mega program. This will include working with data for scheduling, cost, and risk management controls. Strong dashboard reporting skills and experience working with data structuring are required. Fluency in data management and report development and production is required.

Role accountabilities:

  • Develop and monitor project performance metrics, reports and collaboration sites to assist with project/program schedule monitoring and status communication updates to project/program management teams.
  • Work with multiple Project Managers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Utilize project schedules in Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software and extract data for reporting.
  • Perform Cost control reporting to support cost monitoring, analysis, forecasting, trend analysis.
  • Analyze and use data to identify key project issues, project variances from approved plan.
  • Generate progress trend and forecast using statistics or pattern finding techniques.
  • Works hands on with earned value monitoring.
  • Conduct and/or assists in performance measurement and associated cost trending.
  • Prepares and assists in various levels of project reporting.
  • Assists in process development and implementation of project control reporting procedures.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering, construction management, or business administration discipline or a Project Management Professional certification along with a technical degree.
  • Possess 3-7 years' experience in data analytics and reporting.

Key Skills and Abilities:
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft 365 applications such as SharePoint Online, Excel, power 5-Automate, Forms, and Teams
  • Working knowledge of Primavera P6 software, with Planning, Tracking and Monitoring of Project Scope, Resource and Cost.
  • Expert Excel modeling skills, including macro development, look-up tables, complex formulas, and pivot tables.
  • Expert level in Power BI report development and production.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $72, 000 - $122, 000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
