Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Data Reporting Analyst in New York. This role is in the financial services industry, where you will be expected to understand complex areas such as financial trading workflows, systems integration, and systems connectivity. Your key focus will be to perform in-depth analysis on related datasets and provide insights to support business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to understand system spaces and data for developing business intelligence dashboards.

• Perform detailed analysis using tools such as Qlik Sense, Excel, and Jupyter Notebooks.

• Coordinate directly with various business partners to understand data domains, data models, and data insight needs.

• Develop execution strategies to capture necessary data, provide ad hoc data analysis, and build reusable intelligence dashboards for continuous data insights.

• Conduct training for our internal user community on our data insight offerings to promote regular usage.

• Design and manage business reports to track and convey key performance and usage metrics for Enterprise Technology systems.

• Use strong SQL skills and experience with scripting languages such as Python for data modeling and data analysis.

• Apply critical thinking skills and creativity to solve problems, prioritize work, and maintain flexibility.

• Organize and communicate information effectively to a wide variety of audiences.

• Collaborate with customer support, back-end development, and business teams. Requirements • Must have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Data Reporting Analyst.

• Proficiency in Qlik, Qlik Sense, and QlikView is mandatory.

• Expertise in Data Modeling and Data Management is required.

• Knowledge of Data Manipulation Language is necessary.

• Proficiency in SQL and Python, including Python Scripting, is essential.

• Must have the ability to perform Data Analysis and Data Analytics.

• Experience with Jupyter and Jupyter Notebook is necessary.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Excel Formulas, is required.

• Experience in Business Intelligence (BI), Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT), and Business Intelligence Technologies is necessary.

• Must have the ability to create and manage Reporting Dashboards and Dashboard metrics. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
