MediaCom Data Analyst, Analytics in New York, New York

About the Role:
The Data Analyst is expected to demonstrate hands-on skills in media metrics, reporting, and manipulating data. We value problem solving,and the ability to be truly detail-orientated in a fast-paced environment. We're looking for someone who is self-motivated and able to operate independently with limited guidance and direction, and thrives on growth, learning, and building.

Your Impact:
Utilize syndicated research tools and marketing platforms to retrieve various types of data (macroeconomic, marketing, business, etc.)
Run reports on digital marketing platforms
Compile data intocomprehensive datasets
QC data
Generate graphics for use in client presentations
Analyze data and provide initial insights
Contribute to building data infrastructure and processes

Your Knowledge & Abilities:
Strong Excel (and/or Google Sheets) skills
Experience with SQL, BigQuery, Tableau, PowerBIstrongly preferred
Exposure to media metrics: Media (e.g. buying models, CPV, VCR, GRP)
Understanding of one ore more marketing platform sources such as Google ADH, Facebook/Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.
Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
Exposure to survey-based measurement techniques (namely Brand and Conversion Lift studies) a plus
Knowledge of visual techniques for data analysis and presentation

Your Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred. An MBA, MS degree in Statistics, Economics, or Applied Math is a plus
1-2 years related work experience
