Lyft Contract Manager in New York, New York

Lyft is hiring an experienced, talented and energetic Contract Manager to join our Legal team. Lyft is seeking a candidate who can help us achieve our goals by managing a high-volume commercial agreement negotiation and approval process. The successful candidate will be an engaged and resourceful self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and excellent at building strong relationships with team members.
Responsibilities:
Draft, evaluate, negotiate and execute commercial agreements
Manage and respond to a high volume of daily contract-related inquiries
Assist with audit requests, contract program reports, and contract searches
Ability to understand when and how to escalate open items during negotiation terms with leadership, partners and key stakeholders
Partner with and advise internal stakeholders on risk and other business matters related to contracts and partnership while establishing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders
Shape and improve our legal processes that enable both legal and business functions to scale effectively
Manage record-keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation
Assist other teams with projects on an as-needed basis
Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree required
3+ years of progressive responsibility with quantifiable results in contract negotiation, administration and/or management; in-house experience a plus
Resourceful self-starter with excellent problem-solving capabilities, judgment, negotiation, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to manage high-volume workloads, multiple stakeholder demands and ever-shifting priorities all while instilling confidence
Proficiency working in a Mac environment, Google application, and Microsoft Office applications
Sense of humor and a willingness to dive into new areas
Paralegal certification or a JD (or equivalent) is a plus, but not required
Legal operations experience is a plus, but not required

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid
The expected base pay range for this position in the New York City area is $108,000 - $135,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
