Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in New York, New York and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.Work You’ll DoDrive software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; provide application analysis to meet software architecture and infrastructure goals. Define system strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, develop workplans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams, and identify changes in scope. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce analyses and algorithms that help businessesmake better decisions. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.• 50% Travel required nationally.• Telecommuting permitted.• Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. RequirementsBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:•Utilizing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Enterprise Implementation methodology to provide software advisory and implementation services for clients in Private and Public Sector industries;•Researching user reported issues with software systems, identifying root causes and resolutions, and implementing fixes using SQL, HTML, JavaScript, and Eclipse;•Tracking implementation defects, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details by leveraging Jira, Asana, Redmine, and Agile and Scrum methodology;•Developing functional specifications for custom development and interfacing with external systems through use of Microsoft (MS) Office 365 suite;•Creating project charters, schedules, and plans, defining project tasks, allocating resources, andmonitoring project progress by employing Asana, MS Project, SharePoint, and PowerPoint;•Working across all phases of the SDLC to design, develop, test, and implement SAP and PeopleSoft ERP Systems for enterprise-level clients;•Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate functional and technical requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that fully meet client needs using Jira and Agile and Scrum methodology; and•Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes, and environments to support project design of future-state and to-be systems, processes, and environments, utilizing MS Visio, Word, Excel, and Agile methodology.Annual Salary: $137,700.00-$229,500.00.To apply visit apply.deloitte.com.
