Perform engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and facilities, such as roads, railroads, airports, bridges, harbors, channels, dams, irrigation projects, power plants, and water and sewage systems. Review and analyze complex construction schedules and provides opinions, advice and reports as necessary on project progress as well as predictions of the work using Primavera P6. Attends meetings and advises client of actual construction progress and related cost implications. Develops potential recovery plans for time and cost. Building detailed engineering, construction, and validation logic driven/resource loaded schedules, analyze critical path updates, schedule progress, evaluate schedule options, communicates schedule status to the project manager, client, consultants and others. Responsible for maintaining project schedule(s) and alerting project team to potential problem areas. Leading or assisting in the development of functional schedules for engineering, procurement, construction and startup activities. Report writing and preparation of charts & graphs to support and present analyses. Regularly communicates with clients, coworkers and other stakeholders. This position allows for remote work and reports to the company’s office in New York, NY. Minimum Requirements: A Master’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Special Requirements: Position requires 3 years of related experience, which must include some experience in each of the following skills: Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project; MS Visio; Bluebeam Revu Navisworks and Synchro 4D simulation; Construction Estimation; Scheduling and Cost Reporting for Capital Project in New York Metro Region; and Delay analysis and report preparation.Qualified applicants must apply and provide a resume at (https://www.jobpostingtoday.com)referencing Job ID (78501) to ensure consideration for the proper position.
