Samsung Electronics America Compensation Partner, Samsung Ads in New York, New York
We are looking for top talent to join as a Compensation Partner to our fast growing Samsung Ads Business. Reporting to the Head of Samsung Ads HR, you will be helping to build out and administer compensation programs and processes.
• Partner with HRBPs and business clients to deliver compensation solutions that support business objectives
• Partner with Recruiters to develop competitive offers aligned to company’s pay practices and philosophy
• Deliver compensation programs including annual merit increases, promotions, short-term incentives, and long-term incentives
• Perform meaningful data analysis on compensation elements, including base pay, short-term incentive plans, long-term incentive plans, pay for performance, benchmarking / market data, and job evaluations
• Ensure compliance with all related regulations including FLSA and pay equity
• Provide up-to-date market intelligence on competitive compensation trends and practices
Role and Responsibilities
Preferred Education Requirements and Related Skills
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Human Resources, Finance, Business, Economics, or Accounting.
5+ years of progressive compensation experience
Candidate must have a deep understanding of total compensation programs including base pay, short-term and long-term incentives, executive compensation, benchmarking / market data, and job evaluation
Understanding of the external competitive market especially, in the media, advertisement and tech industries
Understanding of sales roles and sales pay mix components of fixed and variable compensation
Familiar with market data survey analysis
Analytical mindset and ability to manage large, complex data sets
Experience in market data survey analysis and creating salary ranges appropriate for specific roles and geographic locations
Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands and ambiguity
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, collaboration, and teamwork
