JPMorgan Chase Commercial & Investment Bank Strategy, Digital & Platform Services Strategic Execution, Vice President in New York, New York
This role provides the opportunity to work on key strategic initiatives on our Digital & Platform Services (DPS) Strategic Execution team. The DPS Strategic execution team is part of J.P. Morgan's larger Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) Strategy Americas organization, which functions as an internal consulting group and works on a project basis to address topics at the top of senior management agendas.
As a Vice President on the DPS Strategic Execution team, you will take the lead in managing fast-paced projects to solve complex problems and implement critical initiatives. Projects include developing the overall strategy, governance, organizational structure, operating model, architecture, and processes for the DPS organization. You will work closely with the senior leaders on the Strategy team, as well as leaders across the DPS organization.

Responsibilities:
Lead initiatives and projects to resolve diverse problems identified by senior managers of the DPS organization
Lead teams of 1-3 junior strategists to develop and execute solutions / projects in partnership with business leaders
Gather, synthesize, and creatively analyze data (e.g., financial modeling, valuation analysis) to provide insights, identify issues and arrive at recommendations
Develop and execute work plans to test / evaluate strategies and insights which could span process improvement and organizational change efforts and identify potential roadblocks / obstacles and escalate issues, as needed
Plan and execute research with business partners via in-depth interviews, facilitated working sessions, design workshops, focus groups, and surveys
Develop and apply an understanding of innovation in financial services and emerging technologies (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation) to help reimagine the future of D&PS
Support early-stage execution and op model for new priority areas to validate strategic assumptions
Develop strategic presentations for both internal and external audiences
Coach and mentor less experienced colleagues; create and/or contribute to an environment of collaboration and mutual responsibility
Develop \"trusted advisor\" relationships with senior stakeholders
Simultaneously work on multiple projects across the DPS organization
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
8+ years of experience with either premier management consulting firm (including minimum 2+ years of Manager experience) or investment banking (Mergers & Acquisitions, Coverage, Capital Markets, Equity Research) division (minimum 2+ years as Vice President), and Financial Institutions Group (FIG) experience
Diverse strategic problem solving experience, such as leading CFO level programs across the financial services sector
An outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently (both oral and written), influence senior business leaders, work well in cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to execute strategic programs in a complex, multi-functional environment
Exceptionally strong project management skills
Passion to foster an environment of active constructive feedback and continuous development
Intellectual curiosity and ability to develop subject matter expertise in new subjects quickly
Advanced Microsoft Suite Excel and PowerPoint skills
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Math, Engineering, or a related field
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Graduate degree in Economics, Finance, Math, Engineering, or a related field
Experience applying data analysis to solve business problems in a fast-paced environment
Experience with cross-functional collaboration, including influencing stakeholders and working with diverse team
