Citigroup Change Management FP&A Sr. Analyst in New York, New York

Change Management – Planning & Analysis Analyst, AVP (C12)

This position will help to support the Change Management organization by leading and assisting with FP&A activities focused on the Data Services organization. The FP&A Analyst will work closely with other Finance colleagues in providing critical financial analyses regarding monthly performance, forecasts and long-term plans. This position will be required to collect and effectively interpret volumes of financial information while being able to provide a clear and transparent summary. Responsibilities include directly providing Data Services Financial managers with strategic and financial analyses, development of forward-looking financial projections and analysis, headcount and re-engineering analytics, scorecard input and coordination of charges with Global Business and Finance teams. The AVP will be asked to assist with developing analytics and reports to track progress to meet budget deliverables and support key decisions to drive results for the organization supported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparation of executive presentations for senior management review

  • Coordinate with the Change Management Chief of Staff team to support and drive critical business initiatives

  • Consolidation and validation of volumes of financial data, such as re-engineering saves and initiative spends

  • Prepare and develop financial reports using Excel and specialized financial reporting software

  • Full involvement with the monthly forecasting process and annual budget

  • Provide financial trend analysis and fact-based financial guidance

  • Provide key financial and operational analyses and forward-looking projections to business partners

  • Analyze business operations and provide meaningful variance reporting and supporting analysis

  • Work and partner with multiple areas across Citi FP&A

  • Lead/Participate in projects and ad-hoc requests for both Data Services and Citi Realty Services

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred

  • 3+ years relevant experience in Finance, Accounting or Project Management

  • Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities while executing on numerous deliverables simultaneously

  • Strong communications; ability to distill volumes of data into clear, crisp and concise summary

  • Strong process management skills

  • Solid understanding and experience working with financial statements

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to build strong relationships and work with multiple global stakeholders on a variety of initiatives

  • Ability to adapt quickly in changing environments
