The Challenge

The Adobe Digital Experience Business Development Representative works closely with the Sales Specialists to help drive Adobe's Digital Experience solutions within Targeted Accounts in North America.

This will be accomplished through but not limited to cold calling, email campaigns, lead generation and follow-up, discovery calls and demos, and daily customer sales support activities. The role involves management of existing accounts as well as building additional new business.

What you'll do

  • Drive and close opportunities in North American Named Accounts
  • Drive awareness into the account base through regular email campaigns and drive attendance to live and online seminars.
  • Assist customers in understanding Adobe's Digital Experience solutions, specifically around Web Experience, eCommerce and Workflow processes.
  • Ability to understand complex business environments and uncover customer issues, process problems, and translate need into business opportunities.
  • Engage in regular targeted call campaigns from designated prospect lists provided by Field Sales Marketing and your managed account list.
  • Build pipeline of all opportunities through managed accounts, new leads and campaigns. Update on a weekly basis.
  • Prepare activity and forecast reports as requested.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Adobe's competitive positioning in the marketplace.

What you need to succeed

  • 3 - 5 years prior inside sales experience, preferably within software and/or services, with a proven track record of success.
  • Prior experience cold calling and generating new leads.
  • Understanding of the sales cycle and solution selling process into the stock image market is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Motivated by individual and team achievement as well as able to operate under minimal supervision.
  • Highly organized with ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe products preferred.
  • General knowledge of images and software copyright licensing
  • BS/BA degree required or 8+ years relevant sales experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $63,000 -- $100,200 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
