GENERAL FUNCTION

The Business Data Manager analyzes, identifies and creates strategic solutions to help leaders meet their goals. Partners with cross functional teams on key projects (related to growth, business opportunity etc), drives implementation and tracks results. Works closely with Finance and Zone Vice President to build hindsights and build boost strategies.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops in-depth analysis around sales, discounts, segment performance, and promotions.
  • Based on analysis, provides working diagnosis of store level issues/opportunities.
  • Identifies trends/relationships that can lead to better forecasting of the business and/or improved business performance.
  • Uses analytical skills and judgment to solve problems with limited information at hand.
  • Communicates complicated matters in a simple, structured way to senior management.
  • Gets work done through cooperation with other groups with no direct reporting relationship to position.
  • Effectively navigates the organization, leveraging influencing ability and creditability.
  • Maintains frequent oral and written communication with Home Office executives and management, staff, field management and stores.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or accounting experience
  • Excel (pivot table experience)
  • Business Objects
  • Essbase
  • Self-starter comfortable in an ambiguous, project oriented environment
  • Collaborator/Partner
  • High energy, action/result orientated
  • Courageous and persistent
  • Enjoys resolving conflict
  • Effective communicator - written and verbal

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with forecasting and statistical analysis techniques
  • Retail experience

Pay Range: 121,404.40-172,611.20

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.

Minimum Salary: 121404.40 Maximum Salary: 172611.20 Salary Unit: Yearly
