Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Banker for its New York, NY location.

Duties: Perform complex financial analyses related to valuation, credit underwriting, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and capital markets transactions. Execute idea generation and sourcing of new client mandates related to financial advisory, capital raising, and risk management. Prepare credit underwriting and valuation analyses. Develop client relationships. Liaise with product and industry coverage partners to deliver advice and drive transaction execution. Conduct internal credit approval process related to acquisition financings, dividend recapitalizations, refinancings, and other financing transactions for private equity clients. Ensure risk and controls processes related to internal and external policies are adhered to by cross-functional deal teams. Serve as technical subject matter expert in relevant accounting, corporate finance, and capital markets concepts. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policy.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics, or a related field, and three (3) years of experience within the financial services industry in the job offered, or in a related occupation. Three (3) years of experience must include: Leading transaction execution, driving business development efforts, and contributing to franchise growth; Managing complex projects related to strategic advisory, credit underwriting, and capital markets transactions; Performing financial analysis, financial modelling, credit underwriting, valuation, and strategic advisory; Providing advisory services on corporate finance topics including capital raising, risk management, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), valuation, and capital deployment; Leading complex financial analyses by developing, reviewing, and presenting financial models related to valuation, M&A, and credit underwriting; and Analyzing and interpreting financial statements, equity research, economic data, credit rating reports, and accounting and business diligence, in support of client transactions and advisory assignments. 40 hrs./wk. 10% domestic travel required.
