Job Title: Audiologist Job Type: Full-time Pay Rate: $85 Per hour Working Hours: Monday to Friday, between 8:30 am and 3:00 pm (Shifts may vary based on clinic needs) Job Summary: Provide comprehensive audiology services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Conduct diagnostic hearing tests, evaluate middle ear function, prescribe and fit hearing aids, offer counseling, and provide ongoing support. Ideal candidate holds a valid New York State audiology license, is enrolled in Medicaid/Medicare, has 2+ years of experience with developmental disabilities, and expertise in billing. Evaluate hearing aid candidacy, provide recommendations, and conduct follow-up care. Offer counseling, support, and on-site training to individuals and staff. Complete billing for Medicaid, Medicare, and third-party insurance accurately. Maintain compliance with clinic protocols and participate in training sessions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care. Qualifications: Doctoral degree in Audiology or related field, valid New York State audiology license, and authorized Hearing Aid Dispenser. Enrolled in Medicaid/Medicare, with 2+ years of experience with developmental disabilities and familiarity with Medicaid billing processes. Proficiency in electronic health record systems, strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills. TB testing/inoculation according to 14 NYCRR Section 633.14 and proof of two MMR inoculations.
