BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. is hiring an Associate (ref. Code R241427) in New York, NY.Duties: Develop, deploy and deliver the industry leading private equity analytic solutions for BlackRock and the Aladdin client community. Lead and build a private market benchmarking solution for portfolio and risk managers, by leveraging BlackRock proprietary risk factor models, creating API enabled data processing pipelines, and implementing the direct alpha methodology to simulated cash flows, create calc engines to decompose the actual IRR to factor components, which provides a sound risk management ref across the firm. Partner with eFront - alternative investment data management platform - to analyze quarterly GP reports by cleaning, fixing and wrangling fund-level transactions data; create logics to fill the missing data, and look for NAV outliers and potential secondary trading accounts systematically with Python algorithms, which helps select the most representative accounts to perform broader benchmarking. Serve as an ambassador for our solutions with internal and external clients and participate in business development activates REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Methods and Modeling, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Financial Engineering, Accounting or related quantitative field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as a Finance and Operations Associate, Market Research Data Analyst or related. Must have two (2) years of experience with: SQL; Statistics and Quantitative Analytics; and Project or Product Management. Must have one (1) year of experience with: Programming (Python, R) and Private Market Performance and Benchmarking.
