VMware Associate Success Executive - Opportunity for Working Remotely in New York, New York

As a VMware Cloud Universal Success Executive, you will serve as the adoption leader for SaaS and Subscription services purchased through VMCU. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, help accelerate the customer experience during their journey from traditional on-premise ELA purchases to SaaS/Subscription..

Upon joining our Customer Success Executive team, you will play a critical role in delivering the VMware Cloud Universal offering for customers by enabling them to rapidly and successfully onboard, adopt and redeem business value. As VMCU offerings grow- your role will be to help customers understand these new offerings and how easy consumption can be through VMCU.

In the VMCU Success Executive role, you will interact heavily initially to lead their VMCU enablement and redemption. After on boarding you will meet with your assigned customers, helping them to achieve redemption milestones in driving product consumption. You will review Redemption Plans with each customer to align their timelines and objectives aligning to that plan.

You will be able to manage your own schedule and priorities to help our customers achieve their goals while also maintaining a great work/life balance

Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

During the first few months, you will onboard into the VMCU Success Executive role and work with your assigned customers.

  • Upon joining the VMCU Success team, you will be guided through an evolving mentorship program. You will learn from some of our most talented mentors in Customer Success.

  • After onboarding, you will be assigned your first VMCU accounts and work to establish their plan around redemption of VMCU credits and the various services within VMware that they can be applied too.

  • You will work with account teams and customers to validate their Redemption Plans and key dates for redemption. You will coordinate internal teams and customers alike to meet those timelines and redemption values.

  • You will create your Adoption Plan in Gainsight and record all customer activity and milestones throughout the customer journey.

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

As part of the VMCU Success team, you will be working throughout the VMCU subscription period with several assigned customers. The activities you will perform are all aligned with the purpose of helping our customers achieve their desire to move to SaaS and Subscription services via VMCU. You will orchestrate the adoption and consumption of the VMware technologies the customer has purchased.

You will also be collaborating with the broader VMware account team and specialists as you perform the following:

  • You will have a track record of experience in managing multiple projects/customers and like the challenge off a fast paced work environment that is growing rapidly that you can put your own voice to how it is developed.

  • You want to be challenged by customers that want to quickly move from traditional methods of purchase to SaaS and Subscription.

  • You will grow your experience with forecasting adoption rates for customers and be energized by the challenge to grow best practices.

  • You will lend your voice to your team to drive growth and change within VMware in its own journey as a SaaS and Subscription leader in the market

Where is this role located?

Flexible: The role is considered remote and working from your home office unless otherwise specified by your future manager. You may be required to travel to VMware planned events and to meet with your customers and account teams (up to 25%).
