The Trustees of Columbia University in the City of New York Associate Research Scientist in New York, New York
The Department of Civil Engineering & Engineering Mechanics in the Fu Foundation School of Engineering & Applied Science has an immediate opening for an Associate Research Scientist to work with Associate Professor Shiho Kawashima. The successful candidate will conduct leading-edge research in cement-based materials and applications with the following responsibilities:
* Conduct materials characterization (XRD, TGA, SEM) and rheological characterization on cement-based materials;
* Conduct mechanical and durability testing on cement-based materials;
* Perform data analysis and reporting.
PhD in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science.
