Associate, Investment Banking @ TD Securities (USA) LLC (New York, NY)JOB DUTIES: (F/T) Manage deal execution and provide project management for investment banking clients within the Insurance sector. Research and analyze industry and market data to inform investment decisions. Perform company-specific due diligence, analysis, and documentation including history, background, products/services, competitive landscape, and financials. Assist in financial modeling and business valuations including M&A, Equity, Debt, and LBO analyses. Prepare presentation materials and execute on pitch work. Participate in marketing meetings with clients. Perform post pitch work. Coordinate with stakeholders daily to progress transactions and discuss strategic alternatives.SALARY: $175,000 - $225,000 per yearJOB REQUIREMENTS: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics, or related field, and three (3) years of exp in the job offered, or as Associate, Analyst, or related position involving financial analysis. Full term of experience must include each of the following: Conducting market research and financial analysis for investment banking; Performing financial modeling and business valuation; Development of strategic ideas from various analyses, forecasts, business plans, and research; Supporting the preparation of presentation materials, including pitch materials, management presentations, internal committee materials, Board presentations, and miscellaneous memoranda for use in strategic client dialogue; Demonstrated marketing experience, including marketing the firm’s capabilities to clients and investor messaging; and Mentoring junior colleagues.One year of experience must include each of the following: Insurance coverage across P&C, Life, Reinsurance, Insurance Brokerage, and InsurTech verticals; Transaction experience leading M&A, Equity, and Debt financings within the Insurance sector; Demonstrated experience providing financial advisory services to Insurance companies; Development and oversight of detailed financial analyses with sophisticated understanding of Insurance specific items (including regulatory risk-based capital, incurred and paid loss triangles, loss reserving, or rating implications); Managing clients through buy-side and sell-side processes within Insurance; and Managing deal teams and conducting training on Insurance related topics including industry trends, financial modeling, and transaction processes.
