Fitch Group Services, Inc. Associate Director, Quality Assurance Engineer in New York, New York
Review requirements and specifications to define test conditions. Design and map test cases and scripts to criteria, recording and reporting outcomes. Estimate testing activities and tasks. Prepare test strategies, plans, and detailed test cases, and develop test scenarios from business requirements. Perform back-end database testing using complex SQL queries in Oracle. Create a regression suite with Python automation and conduct regression and integration testing. Collaborate with teams to define workflows and APIs for automated scripts. Analyze test results, log defects in JIRA, and work with the project team on issue resolution and re-testing. Report test activities and results, and track status using ALM, JIRA, and qTest. Engage with ETL processes, data warehousing, data testing, Oracle database technologies, BI testing (Qlikview, Cognos), AWS services, and automated testing using Python frameworks. Utilize ML and LLM concepts and various libraries (scikit, seaborn, matplotlib, Great Expectations) for test automation of APIs, event brokers, web services, and microservices. Work with ETL processes; data warehouse; data testing; ORACLE database technologies; writing complex ORACLE SQL and PL/SQL scripts for data validation and backend data warehouse testing using Python based automation framework; BI testing, including Cognos; Pandas; Boto3; ALM; and, JIRA.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study, plus five (5) years of experience with ETL processes; data warehouse; data testing; ORACLE database technologies; writing complex ORACLE SQL and PL/SQL scripts for data validation and backend data warehouse testing using Python based automation framework; BI testing, including Cognos; Pandas; Boto3; ALM; and, JIRA.Salary is $150,280.00 - $189,800.00 per year.Email resume to chicago.recruiting@fitchratings.com or mail resume to David M.
