Associate, Corporate Credit Underwriting (Apollo Management Holdings, L.P. - New York, NY); Multiple positions available. Offering a salary range of $155,000 to $195,000 per year. Provide analytical and project support for all investment related activities; construct financial models, sensitivity analyses, comparable analyses and other discrete financial analyses as well as industry research across multiple industries. Conduct exploratory research and perform analytics on potential investment opportunities alongside members of the team. Play an active role on the deal team in analyzing and synthesizing new investment opportunities, along with providing assistance during legal documentation. Develop, present and discuss investment committee memoranda and materials with senior team members. Develop meaningful relationships with management teams as part of the investment process. Assist the team with additional ad hoc projects, including but not limited to portfolio monitoring, reporting, investor requests and presentations. Position based in New York, NY; telecommuting permitted up to once per week.Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field and 2 years of experience in credit investing or investment banking. Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following: credit agreements or bond indentures; Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; financial analysis; risk management; and financial modeling.
