Conduct valuation analyses across the firm’s investment platforms including private equity, real estate, debt, and non-performing loan portfolios. Maintain the asset portfolios by working closely with portfolio managers and the investment team. Develop comparable companies, comparable transactions, and discounted cash flow valuation methods. Monitor macro-economic trends and review asset P&L. Assess financial impact by fund of holding value changes for the asset portfolio. Provide support and explain the methodologies used to value the asset portfolios to auditors, investors, and independent valuation consultants. Present the asset portfolios’ holding value to the firms’ valuation committee and CFO. Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Experience must include: conducting valuation analyses for private equity, real estate, and non-performing loans; building financial models including discounted cash flows, market comparable company, and market comparable transaction; reviewing P&L; and working with asset managers or investment teams on reviewing historical financials; analyzing projections and understanding what they are based on; providing color and description on various companies’ KPIs; monitoring and analyzing market movement for various industries and public companies and discussing its impact on portfolio companies; running ad-hoc analysis to support selected multiples, ratios, and discount rates.$160,000-$180,000/year.
