Regular hours entail 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
Must be flexible to meet program needs
Evenings and weekends may be required
Oversee all treatment planning and delivery for program youth
Provide ongoing individual and group coaching sessions to staff for processing of complex cases and best practices
Elevate complex cases to Clinical Director as needed
Collaborate with other departments to define and promote interdisciplinary treatment plans
Track clinical data and information for reports and quality service assessments as requested
Randomly audit files/STRIDE/Portal
Provide on-call clinical support and guidance to clinical staff
Provide CITR support and guidance to clinical staff
Coordinate all clinical services for UC
Provide clinical guidance, train and supervise all Clinicians within the UC program
Observe clinical individual sessions
Review and Provide feedback on Significant Incident Reports (SIR)
Coordinate team schedules for clinical appointments
Ensure patient centered and culturally sensitive practice
Conduct mental health assessments for UC as needed
Provide ongoing individual and group counseling sessions as needed
Provide mental health crisis intervention
Act as the clinical lead for weekly staff meetings and interdepartmental rounds
Participate in training of all Clinicians and their respective treatment teams to ensure they are versed in the clinical approaches for working with the UC and foster families
Provide and coordinate all needed diagnostic services
Provide record keeping and documentation for all clinical activities (case documentation)
Serves as a member of the clinical leadership team and works collaboratively to ensure all agency operations are integrated and functioning well.
Work with leadership to develop initiatives to improve/maintain a positive work climate that is trauma-informed.
Supervises, trains, coaches and mentors clinical staff to achieve established goals.
Ensures compliance with agency training requirements, for self and staff.
Assists with preparation on site visits and audits from ORR.
Assists with program development as well as ensures compliance with policies and procedures directly related to risk and funding mandates.
Collaborates with other Assistant Directors within the agency
Other administrative duties as assigned.
Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field. LMSW, LMHC required
Experience in the human service field and working with at-risk populations (2+ years)
Experience providing direct clinical services (2+ years)
Ability to teach TST & other agency models - required
Ability to work well with people from many cultures including recent immigrants, non-English speakers, and LGBTQ children
Fluent Bi-lingual - English-Spanish required. All agency documents and records are in English, so English writing proficiency required. Position itself requires Spanish speaking, writing, and reading proficiency
Strong skills in all Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Valid NYS Driver’s License
Ability to travel to other agency locations
Word processing: Including responding to e-mails, composing letters, completing computerized documentation, transcribing minutes for meetings, etc.: This involves sitting at a computer for several hours a day
Completing paperwork -Such as copying and stapling
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Sit/ride in vehicles, busses, subways, trains, plains - public transportation for lengthy periods of time
Walk up/down stairs
Walk to enter/exit subway and other public transportation
Walk several blocks to get to required location
