Overview

NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity available for an Assistant Director, Donor Relations. The Assistant Director will serve as a project leader in key areas of fundraising with a focus on donor relations and related communications. The selected candidate will manage gift processing, manage the reporting process for a portfolio of donor-funded programs and initiatives, and assist with the planning of donor stewardship events. The Assistant Director will also maintain a database of Stern’s available named spaces, programs, and scholarships, draft select correspondence to major gift donors and prospects, and provide operational support for special fundraising initiatives.



Responsibilities

The selected candidate must have a bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant, professional writing and editing experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent attention to detail, writing, editing, interpersonal, strategic, and organizational skills are required. The ability to manage and train administrative staff, prepare and manage budgets, prioritize tasks, and manage projects with competing deadlines are also required.



Qualifications

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $66,600.00 to USD $81,400.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
