Asset Management's Custom Fixed Income (CFI) Team provides customized portfolio solutions and client coverage across a broad scope of fixed income asset classes for our Consumer Wealth Management (CWM) clients. The team is responsible for portfolio management oversight, client service, marketing and product development for the CWM channel. The CFI team is looking for a junior client portfolio manager at the Associate level. This candidate will be an integral part of the team, working closely with portfolio managers to best communicate product offerings, portfolio positioning, and current market environment to our wealth advisors. The candidate will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and expertise across a wide range of fixed income products. In addition, they will be expected to gain an in-depth understanding of our separately managed account platform and process, working side-by-side our PM/ Trading team. The role requires strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with an enthusiasm for investing and an ability to thrive in a fast-pasted environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Product Knowledge Gain understanding across a broad scope of fixed income markets and products
  • Client Coverage & Service - Act as a primary point of contact for Wealth Management teams; responding to queries related to portfolio positioning, performance, product platform, and markets. Ensure SMA portfolios are being setup and maintained appropriately.
  • Marketing & Business Development - Responsible for updating regular marketing materials and outlook decks, assisting with thematic materials, bespoke client materials/ pitches, maintaining our advisor facing website, thinking strategically about engaging the CWM channel.
  • Client Reporting - Take responsibility for the quality and timely delivery of client portfolio reviews and reports.
  • Desk Support & Project Management - Assist portfolio managers on desk tasks, analysis and projects. Work on various team-related strategic projects (e.g., product development, infrastructure & efficiency projects)

Basic Qualifications

  • Highly skilled analytically
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm for Fixed Income; prior Fixed Income experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent PowerPoint, Excel and Word proficiency
  • Ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines
  • Team player

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $90000-$125000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
