Architectural Designer (New York, NY) - Full Time Understand clients' needs and the needs of the people using the building, develop design concepts in consultation with the client and establish final briefs. Use knowledge of building materials, engineering practices, and mathematics to complete drawings. Develop and manage all phases of the design/documentation process. Source products and materials. Model and render architectural projects and design concepts. Prepare working drawings, designs, plans, and models. Design high-end residential projects (single and multi-family) and other design projects. Refine palette, and materials/finish selections and acquire and coordinate samples from vendors. Produce client presentations. Mentor and train junior project team members. Capable of communicating with the rendering team in fluent Mandarin Chinese. A working knowledge of software including Revit, proficiency in AutoCAD, Enscape, and Rhinoceros. Knowledge of construction means and methods, construction materials, and typical details.Position Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Design, or Design or closely related, plus 24 months of experience in job offered or as Designer, Intermediate Designer, Junior Architectural Designer or related.
Minimum Salary: 85,000.00 Maximum Salary: 85,000.00 Salary Unit: Yearly
