Our client is looking for full-time API Infrastructure Engineer. The preferred location of this role is New York, NY. Remote if a great candidate.

Contract Duration: 8-Months

Required Skills & Experience

• NGINX or comparable

• gRPC

• Protocol Buffers

• Java

• Python

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable API infrastructure to support various internal and external applications.

• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define API requirements and specifications.

• Implement best practices for API design, versioning, security, and documentation.

• Optimize API performance, scalability, and reliability through monitoring, testing, and tuning.

• Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to services.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in API development and infrastructure.
