Overview

Provide comprehensive coordination of the Dean's Office, ensuring seamless execution of daily operations. Strategically manage and optimize the Dean’s schedule, balancing priorities and orchestrating a wide range of events and activities. Act as the primary point of contact for ad hoc and sensitive/confidential inquiries, assessing situations and providing timely resolutions. Gather, analyze, and present data-driven briefings to the Dean, supporting informed decision-making across key areas such as budget management, admissions, and enrollment. Craft correspondence on behalf of the Dean, ensuring alignment with the Dean's voice and institutional goals.



Responsibilities

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:
3+ years experience providing administrative support to high level senior executive, including writing communications, and supervising office operations or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Experience:
1+ years Experience at a non-profit or academic institution.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Outstanding writing skills. Excellent organization, planning, interpersonal, and networking skills. Strong detail-orientation. Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, creatively resolve problems, and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to interact in a professional manner with all levels of faculty, staff, students and outside groups. Strong knowledge of MS Word; familiarity with spreadsheet, database, and presentation software; ability to conduct research on the Internet.



Qualifications

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $75,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
