Description

We are offering a part-time contract employment opportunity for an Accountant at the entry level, based in New York. This role lies within the industry of finance and accounting, where the selected candidate will be tasked with responsibilities involving accounts receivable, accounts payable, journal entries, reconciliations, and processing payments.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the processing of accounts payable and receivable.

• Collaborating with the CFO and HR Director to support the team.

• Conducting account coding and account analysis.

• Utilizing accounting software systems such as Dynamics NAV and ERP Solutions for various accounting functions.

• Preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations.

• Handling company credit card accounting and credit card reconciliation.

• Processing daily cash receipts and bank deposits.

• Using Microsoft Excel and Google Docs for various tasks.

• Working on additional projects as assigned.

• Ensuring the maintenance of accurate customer credit records.

Requirements • Possesses skills in Account Coding and Accounting Software Systems

• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat and Dynamics NAV

• Familiarity with ERP Solutions and Account Analysis

• Has experience with Accounting Entries and Accounting Functions

• Ability to perform Account Reconciliation

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Journal Entries

• Experience with Company Credit Card management

• Understands Credit Card Accounting, Credit Card Charges, and Credit Card Receipts

• Proficient in Credit Card Reconciliation and managing Daily Cash Receipts

• Has experience with Blackbaud and Bank Deposit

• Proficient in Google Docs and Microsoft Excel.
