How you'll make an impact:
SiriusXM Media is looking for an Account Executive on the Enterprise Sales Team Tech/Telco who will play a critical role in developing and managing successful advertising programs for key strategic clients. This individual contributor will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing business with advertisers and ad agencies.

What you'll do:

  • Manage, maintain and develop current book of business.
  • Prospect and close new business within existing account.
  • Develop client and agency relationships.
  • Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service.
  • Execute and deliver high quality responses to all RFPs.
  • Manage activity using Salesforce.com as well as all other internal reporting tools critical to our business.
  • Create innovative sales presentations, incorporating industry research, prospecting tools and campaign performance data.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements.
  • Prospect and develop key senior level ad agency and company relationships in order to effectively build and maintain ad revenue vs. budget.
  • Actively participate in trainings and growth opportunities that are provided by SiriusXM Media.

What you'll need:

  • 2+ years digital advertising sales experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of the advertising marketplace with a diverse background in audio, mobile, video and digital platforms.
  • You have experience in programmatic, in podcast and experience with digital measurement and ad effectiveness.
  • You have previous experience working with brands and agencies.
  • Ability to develop and manage a consistent sales pipeline in Salesforce.
  • Proven track record of exceeding goals.
  • Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
  • You are proactive and you can take initiative and to follow through on projects.
  • You are a passionate individual with an appetite for innovation and learning.
  • You are a problem solver and a team player.
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit driven to achieve sales goals.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $78,500 to $85,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
