Overview
Simply (SG1) is part of a Power of One at Publicis Groupe. The Account Executive will work on the Quest Nutrition business and work closely with the account team and the overall SG1 Agency teams. The AE will help coordinate and support the team on clients’ campaigns and overall business. This is inclusive of tactical executions of creative campaigns along with helping to coordinate with the PR and Media teams aligning with the business.
Account Executives are the ‘composers of the orchestra’ and the ‘heart and soul’ they are essential to make the process, and work, wonderful and effective!
Responsibilities
Team Relationship & Management
Proactively Manages UP, DOWN, and ACROSS teams
Comprehensive but concise communication
Over-communication is much preferred than not communicating at all
Working with AD to prioritize workload and ability to ask questions and understand priorities
Builds trust and respect from team members
Internally + Cross-team - as a Power of One structure, the team will be comprised of Account, Strategy, Creative, Production, Media and PR
There will be interactions, collaboration and partnerships required for the success of the SG1 business
Externally – with Simply/Quest clients and their internal depts (Creative Services, etc…)
General Responsibilities
Creative Development & Production
Status
Leads any necessary internal status calls
Update relevant status documents to ensure they are complete and comprehensive
Ensure the SG1 discipline teams have included their updates in a timely manager for internal and external client status meetings
Meeting Recaps (Internal/External)
Leads process for finalizing meeting reports after all meetings, including confirming need for recap with AD and sharing with AD for approval in timely fashion
Timelines
Works closely with AD and Project Manager to support and drive project and production timelines
Production
Support AD in the creative development and activation from brief to execution and trafficking
This includes all assets: digital, broadcast, video, activations, etc…
Support all aspects of broadcast production process, including:
Manages substantiation documents, network clearance and legal reviews run smoothly
Supports greater team on shoots (whenever possible)
Oversees and Approves AAE’s Responsibilities
Budgets/Finance
Support the AD on OOP and budget documents to make sure they are kept up to date, accurate, and thoroughly detailed. Ensures this is done consistently, as changes happen in real time, so there is no scrambling/backtracking whenever reconciliation or new budget requests arise. This will help with both accuracy and time management.
Build relationship and work BA, production managers to ensure all Agency/Brand process is abided by in a timely fashion.
Talent
Keeps a very close eye on all Talent and Trafficking updates to ensure that all Holding Fees, talent terms / expiration dates, upcoming costs, etc are accounted for. Reviews and approves talent estimates and ensuring that talent estimates are accurate according to latest media weights (for North America), and monitors actuals/accrued costs, vs. planned spends, on a regular/as-needed basis.
Trafficking
Manage trafficking responsibilities – TV, print, and digital trafficking process including trafficking forms, asset hand off, substantiation documents, network clearance, closed captioning and legal reviews.
Work with the Media Team on crafting creative rotation recommendation under the guidance of the AD
Understanding the Brand’s Business
Well-versed with brands’ historical & current toolkits/work
Proactively understands the brand’s historical work, in order to provide helpful perspective & insights based on past campaigns quickly, in times of need.
Become competitive activity expert
Competitive alerts come through on weekly basis to ensure strategically we are providing value.
Manage the monthly newsletter to clients
Keep sight of upcoming Earnings Calls- attend and distribute recaps
Support in gathering materials for the Board Meetings and relevant client meetings
Immersed in Simply culture, updates, trend
Stays abreast to latest news, memorize Consumer client team structure, and know who’s who for Simply
Be passionate about industry, brand and cultural trends related to our categories and brands.

Compensation Range: $49,305- $71,645 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
