Google Account Executive, Telecom Industry in New York, New York

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 6 years of sales and marketing experience in media or advertising industry.

  • Experience in Google’s search advertising solutions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with high-growth technology clients.

  • Experience successfully managing ambitious, strategic, and operationally complex projects with cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of the advertising industry.

  • Ability to travel as necessary.

As an Account Executive, you'll help to provide integrated, cross-platform advertising solutions. You will support and grow new business with Google’s advertisers. You will manage business relationships to ensure that our clients' needs and requirements are met. You'll serve as their advocate within Google while collaborating with other Google teams to provide them with a comprehensive portfolio of solutions and options.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

  • Develop relationships to serve as a trusted consultant with major customers to optimize their advertising.

  • Generate and manage business plans to define strategies and tactics for long-term sustained success.

  • Understand and adapt to Google's ongoing product and technology developments.

  • Establish weekly/monthly milestone check-ins and/or problem solving sessions to accelerate progress internally and with clients.

  • Establish and maintain strong C-level and cross-functional partnerships.
