Responsibilities

As the Program Manager for Accelerate, you will be responsible for the growth and activation of Accelerate coalitions by city that will address the need for re-skilling and upskilling communities to achieve economic mobility, new job growth and address the digital divide for high demand jobs that exist currently in the US Market. This role is an exciting leader of the following strategic priorities:

  • Implementation and activation of the City and State Coalition for Accelerate to help connect our Public/Private partnerships for acceleration of skills, diverse talent pipeline and creation and retention of jobs.

  • You will work across Microsoft teams as “One Microsoft” to activate City, State Accelerate Coalitions

  • Create offer framework, commercial offers and incentives to scale across Commercial and Public Sector customers.

  • Lead and execution of Go To Market programs within Cities to ensure recruitment, cohort activation and developed pipeline for Job Hiring and Placement

  • Work with Hiring Lead to ensure hiring partners are actively participating in local GTM activities

  • Build reporting structure by city to capture holistic skilling approach within the markets managed.

  • Build Programmatic GTM strategy definition and execution to accelerate and maximize impact of how we incubate, build and make a market within the City and State to support skilling, economic opportunity and job growth.

  • GTM Programs execution: lead generation, pipeline acceleration; events integration, PR and Social amplification in partnership with M&O.

  • Repeatable GTM plays by orchestration with M&O, CDO, OCP and Regulated Industries and Enterprise teams for connecting execution.

We are seeking an individual with thought leadership, outstanding organizational skills and agility, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), strong problem solving skills, demonstrated success in driving complex projects, the ability to partner effectively with senior management in critical decision making and the proven capability to work on several diverse projects at the same time. The successful candidate will have the highest levels of integrity, a broad business background, and a deep understanding of how Microsoft works.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in product, corporate strategy or technical marketing, partner channel development, business development or training/skilling programs within the IT industry

  • Executive maturity, organizational agility and strong impact and influence competencies.

  • Proven ability to create clarity, generate energy and deliver successExcellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.

  • Understanding of AI, Ecosystem Development or Strategic Partnerships

  • Proven track record and experience in technical sales and programs strategy and execution

  • Proven management experience in leading, developing and motivating team members

  • Strategic thinking with demonstrated creative problem solving of complex business issues through analytics, data driven insights, organizational skills and sound judgment

  • Inclusive and collaborative – driving teamwork and cross-team alignment

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience. MBA preferred.
