RGP Project Manager - Financial Services in New York City, New York
As an Accounting Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various accounting projects within the organization. This role requires a blend of accounting expertise and project management skills to ensure the successful execution of projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Develop detailed project plans including scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines
Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and expectations
Allocate resources and manage project budgets effectively
Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion
Oversee the preparation and review of financial reports, reconciliations, and other accounting documentation
Monitor and manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management and accounting
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
PMP preferred, but not required
Role aligned to Financial Services Practice
Experience in Accounting and Project Management role
Strong Project Management skillset
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to blend business process and technical skills to facilitate effective client discussions throughout the cycle of the project deliverables
Excellent communication and facilitation skills to build relationships and foster trust at all organizational levels
Variety of workplace arrangements including hybrid, remote, onsite.
Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.
Pay Range: $80-120
