Protiviti is looking for a Technology Consulting Manager to join our growing Microsoft Security team.

As a Manager , you’ll partner with our clients to solve complex business problems and provide impactful advice and solutions.  You’ll develop lasting relationships with client personnel and further these relationships through quality product delivery.  You’ll foster a network within the business community and serve as an ambassador of Protiviti in the market.   You will also be a mentor, trainer, and coach to Consultants and Senior Consultants as you facilitate the successful completion of project work plans .

  • Extensive Active Directory and Azure design experience

  • Provide subject-matter expertise with Active Directory identity protection best-practices, synchronization, and hybrid infrastructures

  • Implement and troubleshoot Certificate Authorities, DNS, DHCP, ADFS and other core Windows components

  • Provide technical assistance pertaining to Active Directory & SSO (Azure AD/ADFS) in planning and development of new projects

  • Serve as the Lead Architect responsible modernization of IT systems and solutions for a federal enterprise network

  • Experience helping organizations perform projects to enhance the consistency of data stored in Active Directory and Azure Active Directory

  • Experience implementing Pass the Hash controls and other Active Directory \ Azure Active Directory Security best practices

  • Experience with Azure AD Password Protection, Defender for Identity and Azure AD Application Proxy

  • Experience implementing Intune and Intune Autopilot for all different endpoint device types

  • Experience implementing Azure AD join device rollout and deploying into all modern device types

  • Deep understanding of current credential theft attacks and prevention methods

  • TOGAF and/or DODAF experience

  • PowerShell and/or Python scripting proficiency

  • Creates designs, integrates, and oversees implementation of the Active Directory infrastructure

  • Help clients review and assess Active Directory integration and hardening with virtualization infrastructure and platforms

  • Assist clients with designing and implementing architecture enhancements and security configuration modifications to defend against identified threats and attacker techniques

  • Create and document detailed guides and tracking documents - for clients to leverage as part of Active Directory hardening and overall infrastructure enhancements

  • Provide an IT infrastructure and integration perspective to all technology initiatives and ensures all program and project activities adhere to architectural standards and best practices

  • Successfully pursuing business development opportunities and identifying and implementing strategies to obtain new work or clientele.

  • Ability to translate and communicate strategies and roadmap initiatives to client personnel, including executives. 

  • Leadership and direct supervisory experience of teams including conducting performance appraisals, mentoring and coaching, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and understanding how to motivate.  

    Your Educational and Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline ( e.g., Major, MIS, CIS, or related technical degree)

  • 5+ years working in preferably in professional services and/or industry .

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.

  • Professional Certificatio n strongly preferred .

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate

  • Security certifications CISSP and/or CISA

    Our Hybrid Workplace

    Protiviti practices a hybrid model, which is a combination of working in person with a purpose and working remotely. This model creates meaningful experiences for our people and our clients while offering a flexible environment. The ratio of remote to in-person requirements vary by client, project, team, and other business factors. Our people work both in-person in local Protiviti offices and on client sites, which can include local or out-of-state travel based on our projects and client requests and commitments .

    Starting salary is based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Below is the salary range for this job.

$128,000.00 - $205,000.00

Our annual bonus plan provides eligible employees additional cash and/or discretionary stock compensation opportunities. Below is the bonus target opportunity for this job.

The total cash range is estimated from the sum of the base salary range plus the bonus target opportunity. Below is the estimated total cash range for this job.

$143,360.00 - $229,600.00

Employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverages, FSA and HSA healthcare accounts, life and accident insurance, adoption and fertility assistance, paid parental leave up to 10 weeks, and short/long term disability. We offer eligible employees a company 401(k) savings and investment plan with an employer match of 50% on the first 6% of your contributions. We provide Choice Time Off (CTO) for vacation, personal needs, and sick time. The amount of (CTO) varies based on years of service. New hires receive up to 20 days of CTO per calendar year. Protiviti also recognizes up to 11 paid holidays each calendar year.
