What You Can Expect:

As Protiviti’s Senior Marketing Specialist, Internal Audit and Financial Advisory (IAFA) for the Financial Services Industry (FSI), you will be responsible for the execution of actionable marketing, content and client development plans for Protiviti’s largest industry practice, financial services, with a focus on the Internal Audit audience.

What You Will Do:

Planning and project management

  • Work with FSI IAFA leaders to manage and execute the FSI IAFA Marketing plan to sustain our brand equity and continue to drive growth in specific segments (including but not limited to Asset Management, Capital Markets, Payments and FinTech).

  • Plan and manage the full marketing mix and related channels, working closely with product, digital and regional marketing teams, to ensure the success and optimize integration of campaigns.

  • Support annual marketing planning and budget development as well as monitoring expenses and ROI reporting.

Campaign management and execution

  • In close collaboration with IAFA and FSI Marketing leaders, leverage Global IAFA marketing plans and campaigns to develop FSI relevant messaging and ensure internal alignment around campaign objectives.

  • You will use Salesforce as both a sales tool to provide insight into marketing engagements for sales generation and to manage marketing campaigns.

  • Campaign examples include but are not limited to audit newsletter and thought leadership development/coordination, email distribution, website content refresh, webinars, virtual forums, dinner series, and flagship conferences.

Conference and event management

  • Coordinate high volume of FSI IAFA client events (virtual and/or in-person) on a monthly and quarterly frequency to continue to drive audit buyer engagement while executing with excellence.

  • Create high-quality personal experiences for our clients through memorable experiential marketing campaigns.

  • Work with practice members in developing content and assets to support event delivery and follow-ups.

  • Effectively project-manage the end-to-end event process from initial planning, logistics, communications, execution, and post event reporting to show ROI for annual flagship conferences and related exclusive client events.

Content management

  • Coordinate monthly audit newsletters by curating both externally and Protiviti generated insights and drive promotions through optimizing marketing channels (including but not limited to marketing automation, digital and social).

What Will Make You Successful:

  • Marketing experience in or familiarity with the Internal Audit / Internal Controls space targeted at Financial Services clients is preferred.

  • Strong business acumen and project management skills; exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Solid interpersonal skills: a relationship builder with proven ability to mobilize stakeholders outside of span of control and effectively influence, motivate, and collaborate with others at all levels of the firm.

  • Excellent creative skills and entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to solve complex problems in a structured, measurable way.

  • Flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while comfortable with ambiguity.

  • A desire for a long-term position with opportunities for growth within the organization.

  • Strong proficiency with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field

  • 5-6 years’ experience in marketing or project management
