As a the Locomotive Inside Sales and Marketing Representative, you will be responsible for driving online marketing efforts and supporting inside sales activities by generating leads through digital marketing strategies, engaging with prospective clients, and supporting the territory sales team needs, particularly with locomotive sales. As the Locomotive Inside Sales & Marketing Rep, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include: Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to generate inbound sales leads Manage SEO efforts, paid advertising, and email marketing campaigns, monitoring for effectiveness Create and optimize content to increase brand awareness, working with leadership to refine messaging and target markets Identify and nurture potential customers through inbound and outbound communication Respond to inquiries from perspective clients, providing information on products and services Maintain and update CRM records, tracking leads and sales progress Research and qualify leads through industry databases, digital channels, and market trends Support event planning for industry trade shows, including digital promotion and post-event follow-up Assist in developing marketing presentations and product brochures Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless communication between sales and marketing The Locomotive Inside Sales & Marketing Rep should be able to: Experience with digital marketing strategies, SEO tools, and website analytics Excellent communication and writing skills, with proven skills in creating engaging content Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project) and CRMs Experience with Google Analytics and digital advertising platforms Education/Experience: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field preferred 2+ years of experience in digital marketing and/or inside sales in a B2B environment Prior experience in manufacturing, OEM sales, or with locomotive-related industries preferred OR have any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this position.
