Job Title: General Laborer Roofer

Job Description

Join our team as a General Laborer Roofer and work from Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm. Your responsibilities will include inspecting roofs to determine the best repair methods, measuring roofs to calculate material requirements, replacing damaged structures, and installing various roofing systems to ensure weatherproofing. You will also align roofing materials, cut them to fit around obstacles, and secure exposed nails or screws to prevent leaks.

Hard Skills

  • Measuring and calculating material quantities

  • Installation of vapor barriers and insulation layers

  • Installation of various roofing materials including shingles, asphalt, and metal

  • Usage of roofing cement or caulk

Soft Skills

  • Physical stamina and strength

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a team

  • Problem-solving abilities

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in New Ulm, Minnesota.

Work Environment

Roofing work is physically demanding, involving climbing, bending, kneeling, and heavy lifting. Roofers may work overtime to complete jobs, especially during busy summer months.
