M.S. Walker Key Account Sales Coordinator in New Rochelle, New York
M.S. Walker New York and New Jersey is hiring for a Key Account Sales Coordinator. As we expand and grow our regional and national key account base, we need a team player who can help us with sales support activities to keep that business segment strong. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the sales team by providing administrative support, analysis and operational assistance for national and key account management. This individual will ensure smooth communication, accurate documentation, and efficient processes, enabling the national accounts team to focus on client relationships and business development. This role is crucial for handling the administrative side of sales, managing data, and ensuring timely execution of orders and requests. This role is an in-office position with a schedule of Monday-Friday 9:00 am -5:00 pm.
Salary: $55,000-$65,000 Annually.
Description of Responsibilities
Administrative support for our National, Regional, and Key Accounts
Sales support and assistance to Sales Director
Collaborate with Brand Managers and Sales Director to provide clear, concise and accurate responses to our account base in various formats as requested
Build data feeds and provide clear and accurate pricing, inventory and product specifications on a consistent schedule varying by customer
Customer Service and Credit Liaison- place sales orders, delivery coordination, update on exceptions, pricing and invoicing questions, and accounts receivable support
Sales Analytics and Reporting – run reports and analyze the results to optimize efficiency; track and coordinate national and regional placements and mandates
Sales Presentations - create sales presentations as part of a team with the Sales Director and Marketing Manager
Other Duties as Necessary – some general office administrative/ full team support as needed
Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with intermediate to advanced Excel
Strategic thinker – demonstrates ability to see big picture, anticipate changes and impact on trends, asks what-if questions, develops recommendations
Ability to apply mathematical skills for preparing and verifying pricing analysis with a strong attention to detail. This includes ability to calculate amounts such as commissions, discounts, percentages, and volume.
Written Communication – Writes clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar; varies writing style to meet needs; presents numerical data effectively; able to read and interpret written information.
Quality – Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality, applies feedback to improve performance, monitors own work to ensure quality.
Adaptability – Adapts to changes in the work environments; manages competing demands; changes approach or method to best fit the situation; able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills; able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
Wine or spirits industry experience or related knowledge of three tier system would be a plus.
Familiarity with market and industry data sources such as Nielsen and Sip Source. Utilizization of trade publications to find reviews and press on relevant SKUs to bolster presentations will be required.
